How do you feel about the new movie Red Tails that premieres Jan 20th?

Was shocked when I found that this movie is the first all African American leading role movie of it's size.

Didn't HBO already make this movie and call it The Tuskegee Airmen?

Not much. It'll either be a good movie or a bad one.

I'll probably see it in a year or two when it comes to network television. I most likely won't be seeing it in the theatre though. Then again, I haven't been to a movie theatre in years.

Cuba Gooding, Jr.? Please, no! {and where's morgan freeman?} But the story of the Tuskegee airmen is a noble pursuit. Maybe George Lukas' involvement as producer can make up for that Star Wars travesty he unleashed on the history of film.
