Yes. Honestly, I struggle with image issues sometimes myself. When I look in a mirror, I don't always like my reflection. But it's different when I see a picture of myself for some reason. I looked at one today and thought, "Am I THAT skinny?" It freaked me out a little bit.

You should watch the movie 'what the bleep do we know'. It's all about quantum physics. I want to watch it again, it's been a couple of years since I've seen it. It raises a lot of questions concerning perspective. I've come to realize that my reality, is different from other people's realities. I know people who honestly believe something with all their hearts is true when I believe that same thing to be false. Maybe I should watch that movie again and then re post. I could probably have some really amazing profound comments on the subject.

I'd say so. This picture makes it seem like the girl is actually something, but percieves herself to be something else. She acts in accordance with her perception of herself, and so acts in an unhealthy way. But the conclusion that she is not fat is, itself, derived from a perspective of what constitutes fatness and what does not. Perspective seems to be based on the relationship of contraries -like fatness and thinness, healthiness and unhealthiness - and how one defines the boundaries between the two. Something is generally considered true when there is an affinity between multiple perspectives: This girl is unhealthy, or too thin, because everyone can agree that she satisfies the criteria of such. Either way, perspective is everything and is responsible for all distinction and action, so it is all about persepctive.

Could be all about motivation/intention. Looks like she's deathly afraid of her reflection (perception). Fear is a very strong motivator, as is doubt. Many things can motivate us to act. But love is the motivator that can playfully blow all the others away... like a child blowing dandelion seeds into the wind.

Great question and image, xxMOONYxx. Yes it is all about perspective and you get that from Gratitude!! Screw "real" weight, if you have gratitude and a satisfied soul you won't even remember to think about weight or physical appearance. You'll be too busy filling your life with "real" life.
