Who do you initially expect to be waiting for you, perhaps beyond reason?

as I understand the question, it would be Matthew.

i really don't know. alot of my family tends to think it's a hassle to do something as "mundane" as giving someone a ride across town. why would they go to the airport? haha i don't know who would be waiting for me. maybe a friend, maybe my mom, my sister...who knows?

I'm pretty sure my parents would be there waiting for me at the airport unless they were busy.

I have this sort of conflict with my parents and their approval. I don't only do things I get their approval on but it's nice to have it nonetheless. I feel like I'm disappointing them slightly when I don't have their "OK" on it, but hey, it's life, it's bound to happen. I would be disappointed if they weren't there and a little resentful but in the end, I think it would be a good thing because I've got to live on my own sometime. I have to make my own decisions without their approval. The more I get used to them not being there, the more independence I'll experience.

I have a highly mysterious and wise dad.

Even though he lives hours away I've grown accustomed to traveling to varied places around the Province to find him there apparently waiting for me. Place where I hadn't known I was going to, passing by him on the road to some destination I'd just become aware of.

What was spooky at first, has just become funny as we've both accepted that either of us can be called away on some "mission" . . . only to find the other is already there waiting for us.
Or coming home with absolutely no expectation of finding the other at home . . . only to find they are and that it was a get-together we needed.

I don't.
