Traveling question. (Train from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Chicago, IL)

Could someone help me with a traveling issue? I need to find the easiest route, by train from Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Chicago Illinois. Could someone please help me?

Nevermind people I think the easiest route is just getting a ride to St. Louis then taking the train to Chicago.

Unless you're hopping freight trains, I doubt there are many choices for that route.

Amtrak is pretty limited. About the only thing that would work is probably get to Memphis and then to Chicago from there. The train's name is City of New Orleans (for any Guthrie fans out there). They have an 800 number and Amtrak has a website.

If you can take a cab or a bus to Arkadelphia, Little Rock, Malvern, Texarkana or Walnut Ridge then you can get on an amtrak train...But being on a train alone for that long...It gets to you, so bring books.
