i think, on a good day, it's easy for me to see beauty in the everyday. sometimes you just have to really try... but i do believe there is some degree of beauty in every thing.

i try to see the beauty in everything. even if i cant see it, it is still worth looking for because i know everything is beautiful. beauty is....inside and out. most people think of beauty as external but i think everyone should try find the beauty even the beauty the eyes can't see.

The beauty is on one end, now what she or it is doing on the other end. Things might appear to look lovely and pleasing from one angle, but??? My opinion of beauty is only skin deep, but the real beauty lies within the heart.

Wow, this is a timely question. I had a woman at my desk today (I work with the public) and she had these weird boil-like pimply-wart things all over her face, arms, and body (I presume, that's all I could see!). I mean, she was completely covered, with very little space between each boil. I have no idea what her condition was, but take these encounters as a challenge from God to see the PERSON, not the flesh. By the end of the transaction, I had actually forgotten she had them. This question just reminded me!

@applegrass I totally agree with you. it all does seem "crushingly, breathtakingly beautiful." some of the things that may seem ugly or bad to other people are the things that I find the most beautiful... Great lyrics (here comes my music obsession playing out in my responses again...) that show the beauty in everything are in "Slow Motion" by Third Eye Blind... he sings about his girlfriend's blood coming out of her bleeding nose and describes it as "the most beautiful ruby red..." he sings about his neighbor beating his wife but how there is "an art to his fist as he swings..." It's an awesome song and I think it really backs up the beauty in everything theory. :)

If I slow down enough, it all seems crushingly, breathtakingly beautiful.. too much, actually... So, I guess that's why I have to keep moving...

Everything in nature posseses some aspect of beauty, IMO. It is in certain aspects of human nature that I fail to see anything beautiful. I don't find beauty in ignorance, greed, or false superiority.

i definitely don't see beauty in everything. but i don't think it make me a lesser person, cause it's only human to judge and have preference. beauty is, as has been said before, in the eye of the beholder.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I try my best to see beauty in everything, but it is not, as for most, limited to physical human beauty or aesthetics. However. That said, I should add that it is difficult and nobody I know of will be able to see beauty in absolutely everything, me included. It is a state of mind that needs to be trained and cultivated until it becomes a habit; and even then, it is not selfevident to see beauty in everything.

I don't see beauty in everything. There's a lot of ugly and creepy things in life. That doesn't mean that there isn't something to be learned from ugly and creepy things. I see beauty in most everything else, though. Unless i'm in a bad mood, in which case it all sucks. ;)
