birthdays that end in 0 or 5 tend to be more introspective. Kind of like a 50,000 mile check up. It's probably good for you.

I'm sure the first time I asked that question (without the use of words) was when I popped outta Momma's womb and not many days go by without me asking the same question.

Due to the fact I have never arrived at a conclusive answer I'm starting to finally get the fact that I should spend less time asking that question and more time asking myself what should I do while I'm here?... and then more importantly, do it!
Even if you do arrive at an answer of how you got where you are; will it actually change where you are? May I respectfully suggest that you just be who you are and let the why questions be saved for musicians and pall bearers.

Oh yeah, around 25 seems to be the questioning period. And then there is 30, 35, 40, 45 lol It starts about your age and then you think you have it figured out, but you will reinspect your decisions.

Now happy, that is something else altogether. What makes me happy is probably much different than what makes you happy. I am just assuming, of course. I am happy my kids are well and also trying to figure out their reason to be. I am happy the bills are paid. Other things are not that important to me.
Keep thinking and asking and talking and reading and learning.

I think the same. sometimes i think how did we come here & why? was it meant to be this way? are we not even supposed to be here at all? & then after all that thinking i say to myself "what?" then i stop.

I think for some people the questioning is quite permanent.

Certainly, many people find a comfortable enough life and settle in and work on it their entire lives. Many of my bosses seem to have taken this approach.
But a lot of us will always question our purpose and try to seek out one that feels right.
And, some of us who seek purpose will find one that truly fits us.
I've been working on it for about 5 years now (my quarter life crisis came a little early as I'm only 27 now), and have only just started to figure out what I'd like to make my life about, and it certainly isn't what it's been about for most of my life.
All I can say is,
Good luck to ya on your journey!
