Calling All Future Anthropologists...

It is 2000 years in the future. The city where you presently live has long been abandoned and forgotten. An archaeological team stumbles upon the ruins, and begins excavating. They discover you house/apartment/condo first. Assuming the archaeologists have very little knowledge about the 20th or 21st centuries, what conclusions do you think they would draw from the artifacts they recover?

They would probably think that every schooled from home on the T.V. and computer. They would probably find ovens strange and primative because they do not use micro waves. They would find it fascinating when they discover small libraries in the house instead a wirelessly connected kindle at each night stand and coffee table.Shingles might be interesting to them assuming in the future everyones house will probably be sheltered from rain via solar panels. They would probably find it interesting that there was no sewage/water, food waste, plastic, glass, and paper recycling units inside the house as utilities, and that there was no green house in each house to grow food. Gas powered engines especially lawn mowers might be interesting to them as well as cars (who knows though maybe not we will still have to get around.)

well if the place was perfectly preserved, they would think i was messy. and that my place was way too small for all the stuff i was trying to do, as evidenced by all the stuff in my closet that wasnt clothing. they might balk at my porn collection. or they might try to watch it... who knows the future? but they would see that i was a consumer. of all things tangible and untangible. a devourer, a regurgitator, but still a creator... because if they went to school to become anthropologists, they'd be deep thinkers, IMO
