I'm a Baha'i. One tenet of Baha'i belief is that woman and men are equal -- not the same, but equal -- and that mankind cannot fly unless both its wings are strong.

Today lots of people say that science and religion are at odds with one another. There are some in the scientific community today that are questioning this view. Someday people will agree, and that agreement will help unify. The relationship of science and religion is what it is, whether people agree or not.

I don't subscribe to any religion. This usually implies worshipping dieties. Religion is too limiting to my spiritual growth. Instead, I look for the parallels in wisdom, concepts, truisms, etc. that are universal throughout all belief systems. This process disregards all dogma, elitism, and prejudicial attitudes. To that, I include knowledge from philosophy, mysticism, psychology, and science. This is my worldview, and it's First Precept is that we are all connected and are here to love one another.

I'm a Zen Buddhist, though not a terribly devout one. One of its teachings is Karma, that our actions in the present form our experiences of the future.

I'm a Baha'i too, and one of the teachings is that a thought of war should be opposed with an even greater thought of peace.
