@Hooflungpoo @ryno The reason I'd remove weapons rather than violent tendencies is that removing the latter would be altering people's personalities, removing a little bit of their free will. I'm aware people could still hurt and kill each other, but what irks me isn't so much the violence as the amount of effort put into making violence easier. You shouldn't be able to kill with the wiggle of a finger from a safe distance. Maybe you shouldn't be able to kill at all, but that's a bigger decision that will alter the world in a more unpredictable way. We did without guns and bombs before, but we've never lived without violence.

If were up to me I think I'd take away money. Reinstate the barter system, everyone got what they wanted that way. Plus money can do some pretty nasty things to people.

The disgusting addiction to stare at people that have ailments. Things like obsessing over illnesses in the media (Patrick Swayze, Steve Jobs) -- this is a truly vile part of humanity.
