I'd have to say City & Colour. There is a song for every emotion. Really cleansing.

Definitely Vaughan Williams. The Lark Ascending never gets old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT-nEEuKjMk&NR=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT-nEEuKjMk&NR=1

My husband's earliest memories are of being at pre-school (so, 3 or 4) and it being quiet-time. The grown-ups would put classical music on (Bach and Vivaldi were favourites) and the children would lie down. Many would sleep, but that wasn't compulsory. Stillness and calm was the objective. My husband recalls these times as some of the happiest of his life, even today (he's 38 now), and putting Bach's Brandenburg concertos on always takes him back there. As for me, it's James Taylor more often than not.
