I have been down that road of religion dogma and I just don't feel this is for me .. it feels fake..
E.T.s make more sense then most religions ..
but when I am in deep meditation I can feel the oneness with my planet and the things on it..
in my mind if heaven and hell are on my planet, then I would feel the oneness with them too.

Evil is often nothing more than the desire to take the easiest past for oneself, gone awry. The "forbidden fruit"'s first consideration was . . . that it was a short-cut to instantly achieving something great for the Man and the Woman. It's only as an after-thought that how it looked or tasted came in.

I think even a psychopath is not setting out to take the harder path -- it's just that in their own mind committing an attrocitiy against society does seem like the quickest route to what their psychosis tells them they want/need.
As for whether I'd want to be the master of a dump or a toilet-cleaner on a cruise ship or in a palace . . . . I'll have to give that one some thought!

By the time I'm dead I will have spent most of my life putting myself in charge of fucked up situations.. so I'm tempted to say being in charge of hell would be more my thing than being a subject in heaven, but then... it IS supposed to be heaven so I guess a change would be nice, lol..

PS The Stanford experiment was awesome and scary.

Everyone is capable of committing acts that might be unfavorable to some. It all depends on the surrounding circumstances and the persons history. What's "evil" to you might be necessary to someone else. You might do something under certain circumstances that you would consider "evil" if you'd never been faced with those circumstances.

I think in order to apply definite parameters to the concepts of good and evil, religious or spiritual guidelines must be in place and in use. For me, "evil" does not exist; only favorable or unfavorable outcomes to the choices we make and the circumstances which surround us.

I'd rather reign in hell, than bend over and take it for someone in heaven. At least if I reigned in hell I’d have control over everything and could change things. Heaven might be candy and rainbows, but I’m not about to blindly follow orders.

A lot of people think the only hell there is, is this world. Going to heaven would be the better place, I try to not give to much thought to any one of them...

First, I think the definition of "good" and "evil" are pretty subjective anyway. That being said, I think /every/ human has some capacity for both. the choice, I think, its really up to the individual. It is not "destiny" or necessarily the influence of someone else. IMHO, its all about personal choice. Some times "good" people are put into circumstances in which the choices may be limited to two bad ones, in that case, perhaps the "good" choice may be the lesser of two evils. Does that make them "bad" people?
