question

What keeps you grounded?

To be grounded can mean so many things--it can mean recognizing and respecting our mortality, or sticking to the basics of truth and virtue, or keeping a good head on one's shoulders. My (rather ironic) answer to this question-- it's travel that keeps me grounded. Exploring new places or even coming home to where I grew up constantly reminds me of how I'm but a speck in our complex planet--a speck that tries to make do with opportunities, reinforce relationships, and fully embrace life down to the littlest details. So, what keeps YOU grounded?

What do you think?
