The first one I remember is Disney's Fox and the Hound. It was a beautiful record with a design from the movie.

I was given musical media as gifts my whole life but I don't count it as being my "first album" because i didnt buy it.. The first album I ever bought with my own money was a c.d : Jimi Hendrix The Ultimate Experience... and I think I was in the 5th grade or so.It was my way of "rebelling" because I thought all anxsty teenagers listened to loud music what I didnt realize was they were listening to S****y 90's grunge/ metal and I was listening to liquid gold. It sat very comfortably in my c.d case between my Broadway showtunes my LadySmith Black Mambazo and my Garth Brooks. I was an odd little duck.

Spice Girls cassette. I'm pretty sure I still know most of the words and thoroughly enjoyed 'Spice World' as a kid.

That was before they wrote pop music. Still an amazing album to this day.

I know the first two, but I can't remember which one came first, both in 1980, cassette (and cassettes were, at that time, the new hip thing replacing 8 track) I felt special. haha.
