Do You Realize by The Flaming Lips, probably one of the most beautiful and self-aware songs I've ever heard.

It's called requiem by Eliza gilkyson and chorally remade by Craig hella Johnson. I was in choir class and we were learning our new music by hearing recordings. It is the most beautiful song I ever heard and I had the pleasure of singing it

On 9/11 when the Twin Towers fell, I sat in shock. When I had seen enough, I needed spiritual strength. I was in my car and headed to the Los Angeles Baha'i Center to pray. On the Radio was the song "Only Time", by Enya. I began to cry so hard that I had to pull off the road. I had lost friends in the towers and the song made me feel like I could hear the dear souls of those who died. The gathering at the Baha'i Center was comforting. There were very few Baha'is and I was surprised at how many people from all other faiths had come to the Baha'i Center for comfort, instead of the church, or synagog of their own faith. The Baha'i Center has such a welcoming, soothing, and loving atmosphere. Such diversity of beliefs and loving unity in prayers. It felt like comforting family.
