I have had a dream where I woke up laughing. I had been practicing on having lucid dreams, and one night I dreamed I had been abducted by a woman and two men. They had me in a motel room and were pointing guns at me. To make a long story short, at one point I realized I was dreaming and became lucid. I "projected" myself to a safe place, out in the motel parking lot. I then went back into the room, just to mess with these people. Just as they pointed guns at me I went back out to the parking lot. I was laughing and enjoying the exhilaration of being in control of an intense dream. Ayway, I went back to the room because I was really having fun by now. These people were pretty damned confused, and pissed. I was laughing so hard the last time I "disappeared" that I woke myself up. What a liberating feeling!

Penelope Cruz and a former lover doing such wonderful sensual things...and then I woke up alone.
(mildly disappointed rather than devastated)

Quite the opposite, in my case!

Quite the opposite, in my case!
I recently had a dream that I owed two more significant bills totalling around $180 each, and actually spent some time trying to remember what exactly these debts were!
So I was quite thrilled later on when I realized I'd dreamed this and in fact didn't owe any more than I'd already paid (wherever).
Every now and then, things work out! :-)

A few times, all very recently. I've woken up and cried upon realizing that it was all a wonderful dream ... it's always the same, or very similar ... it hurts.
