If you were homeless, what would your cardboard sign read?

I would like something rather humorous. Maybe, "Betcha can't hit me with a quarter!"

Nothing.
I would have used it long ago for heat or insulation in some gorgeous wilderness setting where I would be the determiner of my own present and future.

Dunno if anybody else has said this, but I would probably do something like "Stop reading my sign!" or "Yup. This is cardboard."

The earth is my home. The only way to make me homeless is to fire me off into space.

Just because I don't have an artificial square structure to isolate me from the wonders of the planet doesn't make me homeless!

it would read.......are you kidding me? i'm homeless holding up a cardboard box advertising my dilema to the world? did i even spell "dilema right"? what is wrong with me? does my homeless clothes make me look fat or more homeless? does anyone have the time? hey...i'm still good looking.

basically, i would ramble and have a littel fun out of my situation. but in reality-i don't think i could do the homeless sign begging thing. pride maybe. ego maybe. doesn't matter. i'm in social work and i know about resources and i have a slew of support that homelessness should never be an option for me. but if some crazy reason it happens....look to read a sign that rambles-the most i would get is a smile (which may mean getting a little bit more money because people would appreciate the humor and not just feel sorry for me). mayb a youtube spot. a million hits. be put on the today show. made a song about my situation. got the attention of oprah. met president obama. now i'm rich. you got me thinking..mmmmm.

"Help me". Although, I probably wouldn't bother having a sign. I wouldn't want any attention in that state.
