Lior - Lost In You:
I get lost
I get lost in you
Like a prisoner walking towards the ocean
It's hard to imagine
How something could swallow you whole
Yeah, I get lost
I get lost in you
Pearls in your eyes
Keep me alive
Wrap me up in a glow
Soft as a shadow
There was a time
I would suffer in silence
And feel like my pain didn't matter, didn't matter
I thought:
"Keep on walking
Just show your devotion
They don't know you at all"
And I grew thorns as sharp as spears
And I drowned my fears with books and with beer
At a time there was time, but no horizon
Yeah, I am lost
I am lost in you
I am no longer searching
I'm no longer yearning
Just learning the freedom of floating on

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.

I would say Nothing Compares 2U by Sinead O'Connor because that was our song 20 some years ago. But not it is sad for me and it turns out the song is about her dead son.

Wicked Game
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you.
And I never dreamed that I knew somebody like you.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
With you. With you
What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you.
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you and,

Willie Nelson - "I Can't stop falling in love with you", "Ain't it funny how times slips away"
Otis Redding - "These arms of mine"
I like my love songs with very minimal instrumentation, let the vocals and heart speak.

I've heard so many wonderful songs over the years, maybe Stardust. It's been done at least thirty times in 60+ years, the most recent, to my knowledge, by Rod Stewart.

The most romantic melody ever written has to be Stranger on the Shore, by an Englishman named Mr. Aker Bilk. It was #1 for many weeks in 1960. It isn't modern, but give it a listen and see if you don't agree:

Annie's Song by John Denver. I'm not a country music person per say- but the lyrics are what get me every time. Never heard a song so full of devotion and pure love.

yesterday it was reckoner by radiohead, because i listened to it and the sound of his voice, combined with this great background, gave me chills. it was just a feeling, but i loved it.
