I am more fascinated by the complexities. The ways certain events, especially in childhood/early teens, have created mis-information that affect the rest of our lives.

My dear, dear person in my life, is so far ahead of anyone i have ever known in enlightenment, and he often sees right into my mind. It's eery.
Peace

Yes, it happens to me so much that my Best friend will even tell you "My guts don't lie." Its freaky and weird and uncanny, and yet I have to say I like it.

Yes I am. Maybe. Yes. I think it could be because a part of the mind picks up on very subtle clues and, by chance, connects the dots. It could also be because we are all part of the same consciousness and some times can know things and understand things we normally would not but that other beings we share our minds with do. or maybe...the world may never know. How's the research going? Any findings highlight themselves?

Yes, I am fascinated by the power and potential of the human mind. I'm a psych major, so if I wasn't, I'd be doing myself a disservice.

However, I'm appaled at this sort of mystical thinking. Our potential is vast enough without fabricating rediculous concepts such as ESP. We needn't have magic powers; we're quite capable enough.
Besides, all of the evidence that has been proposed for such phenomenon has been repeatedly struck down and proven inviable.
Make a note that our species is predisposed to eschew critical thinking and pursue the more mystical and unfounded beliefs that pervade our world; the fact that such predispositions have resulted in the rumours of these "phenomena" should be testament enough to our minds' power.

They're only just beginning to map the mind. It's going to be a long, strange trip through still uncharted space, & a voyage that would the jaunts of Marco Polo & Louis & Clark look like a Sunday drive.

As to ESP, some " experts " think that it arose so primitive humanoids could communicate before they could verbalize & draw paintings on cave walls.

yes, this has happened to me- though I cannot explain it. I have learned to never ignore the "voice" of my intuition.
