i didn't initially make it with my hands, but i took some pretty awesome pictures of my friend and her fiance. they were really fun, because they let me dress them up as different characters from classic love scenes. I think my favorite would have been Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca.

I'd have to say the jewelery that I make specifically for friends/family for special occasions. I've been beading for just over 1 year now, and I always get lovely reactions to any jewelery I give as a gift. Makes me feel good to know people love my creations.

I wrote some server code for an online mmorpg project I was working on solo (which I haven't touched in a while). I was quite impressed with how much I got done in the amount of time I did it considering my limited knowledge of the subject. It's multi-client, multi-threaded, Uses SQL for non-pertinent data, and handles connections, packets, and information requests better than I expected.

Not sure if this is "making" in the traditional sense as I didn't leave my chair for the comfort of the the woodshop I dream of having one day, but I did just create (by the process of writing) a significantly kickass promotion recomendation for one of the people I supervise. She turned everything around in the last 12 months, but not everything in her job was intuitive or easy to summarize. I just hope that The Powers That Be see she's done a superb job.

Mac n Cheese from scratch. Perfectly. Just as quick and cheap as the neon orange variety... and a helluva lot tastier. Damn. That was the yum. Sharp cheddah makes it beddah.

@HeAintGonEmailU that sounds delightful! The last awesome thing I made would have to be the family tree I assisted my son in making for boy scouts. I went back to the 1600s on the thing, only to see that the rest of the group only went back one generation.
