Saint Patrick's Day

As a very strong Irish-American, I really celebrate St. Patties Day. Head down the local pub/restaurant with family and friends and just hang out and have fun till two o'clock the in the morning. But this isn't about me, what do YOU do for Saint Patrick's Day? Do you do nothing? Do you at least wear green so you don't get pinched/punched/beat up (depending on where you live)? Or do you go out with friends to celebrate it?

Irish Pubs are always good.

If you know the story of St. Patrick.. You know that he isnt even irish? All he did was teach them about god. St. Patricks day is the day everyone makes fun of the irish, but they dont even know it. Although I still enjoy Lucky Charms and Leprechauns.

The joke is that just about every American has a wee bit o' Irish in them! I wear my gawdy shamrock earrings and something else obviously green and enjoy seeing others doing similar things to celebrate this fun day!

Usually make some bangers and mash..then drink..take a nap..then hit the pubs, get rowdy and break bottles.

Typically I tip a few back... but not before I call my mom to wish her a Happy Birthday... can't get knackered until I've done my deed.

my best friend just so happens to be 100% irish (and takes it very seriously)
we usually celebrated in traditional irish drunken style

I do nothing, besides subject myself to wearing green so the people that feel the need to pinch WILL NOT PINCH ME.
