Are you personally doing anything to push through or stop universal haealthcare? Or, are you just going to let the chips fall where they may?

I see the tea baggers and the Republicans in the media and I see the Democrats in the media, but are you doing anything to help make health care reform happen or not happen?
I contacted my Congressman to urge him to vote the way I want, which is for
health care reform. It is not perfect, but we have to start somewhere in my view.

I have never seen evidence that letter-writing has any effect on the people who run this country, so I'm not wasting my time for my opinion just to end up at the bottom of a wastebasket. I voted, so I had a tiny bit of input.

Poverty-bracket, uninsured American here, by the way. I definitely have a lot to gain or lose depending on which way this goes. I just don't believe that I can do anything meaningful at this point.

I am in Canada and I can tell you it isn't bad There is a reason most of the world has socialized medicine and its because no one deserves to die because they cant pay , And we are not socialists we have one of the most fascist leaders right now , So I am trying to tell people in America that it will work out its just the Rich insurance companies crying because there big money days are coming to an end and it bothers them .

I'm working to make sure that the bill gets passed. I'm writing letters, calling around...

I have contacted my senators, congressman and I even e-mailed the president. I am for health care reform. Don't understand how anyone can be against 31 million more people getting coverage that didn't have it before... for some, getting health care reform that removes the pre-existing conditions clause is very important. Why be against something that can help people, ya know!

I'm in a weird place right now. I don't trust the government to do a good job, but I have no insurance at the moment.
