Plain and simple.
Every person must learn what makes them go and live to fuel this passion. Momentum is an incredible force that when harnessed, will bring substantial outcomes. Satisfy your needs and understand that you can give more than you think... in words, in support, in love.
Keep life in moderation, but always explore and acquaint yourself with the fringe.
Live to Love, Love to Live.

I think I can elaborate over my previous answer.
To my 10-year-old self:
1. Stay away or ignore all family, except for your mom and Her father;
2. Girls don't approach men out of the blue. There are exceptions, though.. and you probably won't like them;
3. What people think of you is important only as it effects the way people respond to your actions and words. So you SHOULD care at least a little about it;
4. Open up your mind. Don't discard possibilities just because they might sound like cliches. Most things in life are "cliche" if you think about it;
5. Authentic Rock n' Roll spirit is THE best thing in the world;
6. Sex is overrated;
7. Don't be afraid of hurting people. If it happens, they'll understand you didn't mean it. If they don't, whatever;
8. Search for Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix as soon as you can;
9. Refuse to play pop songs. You'll only become good at guitar when you find out about music you REALLY like;
10. Responsibility is VITAL;
Man... I wish someone had told me that!

oh and one more thing, your mother is an as*hole vampire, do not believe you are worthless and ugly, you are more beautiful than her crap,and you have a wonderful heart. You are very smart and you are worth so much more than the way she treats you. Never, never, ever trust her and never let her back into your life once you have graduated high school and left home, never go back, ever!

I would tell myself to believe more in the person I am and to be happy with that person and not look for validation from others.

Study, get better grades so you can get a scholarship and go to college, hopefully travel abroad and experience a different life than what you know right now. Don't smoke - cigarettes or other stuff. Be kind to your parents and siblings. Go to church, embrace your spirituality. Give 100% at whatever job you have. Start a 401K or some retirement plan right away. Save your money and when you have enough to do something with it, get some financial consulting, invest, give to charity and church. Wait Wait Wait to get married till you are at least in your late twenties or early thirties. If you decide to have children, devote all your love and care and time to them. Do not be too self critical and keep it real. Have fun.

I would have told myself how awesome I was and all those kids that used to make fun of me and talk smack about me and beat me up after school would end up living their lives in a dead in town and after 2 kids would have fat asses and be working at the bank, and when I came home to visit from living in Europe I would see them and pity them and they would look at me green with envy. I would tell myself that I am going to get to travel and learn new languages and live in NYC and work in my dream job. ALL of this is true! It really happened. I was the type of kid that was scared to go to school because I was so picked on, I was always in awe of the beautiful girls in my school and I was an ugly duckling. I would give myself a glimpse of my future because my adult life has been AWESOME!!!! Sorry fat mother of 2 working at the bank that used to torture me. You used to be so pretty!

Stop fooling around with the songwriter in the band. He is wonky and has a wierd sense of humor, but you will give birth to a wonky, wierd sense of humor child. And this guy won't care that you are with child. He loves the band more than you. What you are doing will change your life dramatically. So STOP NOW!!!

GO TO COLLEGE BY ANY MEANS NECCESSARY!!!! That's the only regret that I have, that I didn't go right to college after high school. I feel like I would've finished on time and would be much better off at this point in my life. Not to mention all of the memories that I would have made. I did start college finally at 25 years old and here I am at 33, still trying to finish that last year.... I could have a 2nd PHD by now.....and less loans to pay back.

Question all those so-called adults that were whislting in the dark full of fear themselves telling you how to be. Question all those religious types that told me I was a sinner until I got their way of worship. I would have looked in the mirror and noticed how pretty and kind I was. I would have insisted on going to college first since I was the oldest (but a girl) and not allowed my brothers go before me cause they were boys. (I got my masters degree at age 64!) I would have taken adoption papers down the street to those other people that loved their kids and divorced the mess I was born into. Floss!!!! At 70 there are very few teeth to floss!!!
