I'm not much of a world traveler. But there's a strip of beach along the Oregon Coast that my brothers and I found when we were lost once. We got there when the sun was at its highest point, and there was no one around. We climbed this hill and found a little grove of trees. It was breathtaking, and it was so beautiful, just sitting there, that I got a little teary eyed. We haven't been able to find it since.

It's one of 24 large waterfalls there, and the place even has free admission (unlike state parks in certain other states)!
Recommended!

I have never traveled internationally, so my vote at this point in my life is Crater Lake, Oregon. The water is an other-worldly blue, and the air is clean and it's so quiet and peaceful. At night, you can see every star in the sky! Very, very lovely place.

A hidden cove at Lake Powell, when there's a storm or it's windy on the open lake and you're just hidden from everything and everyone. Beautiful red rocks and blue skies and green-blue water, floating lazily on a nice boat with a fishing pole in the water.

The view of the mountains in St Moritz- when you stand at the restaurant "Chantarella" which is half way up the mountain and my namesake.
The rice fields in Bali were breathtaking. It looked like a fairy tale. Although all in all I didnt find Bali that beautiful otherwise - those rice paddies were otherworldly. The heat almost did me in though.....

I have yet to travel the world, yet where I have been in the states has been a collective of many beautiful places. When I lived on the east coast I was in awe of the Appalachains and the rivers and creeks that ran through them. The Outer banks of North Carolina, tropics in the middle of the Atlantic coast line (with enough imagination)
