If you could tell the world about one band which band would it be?

We all know that the Beatles are great and we've heard of Coldplay but there are so many other bands out there. I sometimes spend hours on myspace discovering new bands that I can't beleive I've never heard before. If I were to tell the world about one band it would be Making April. I would do this because they, my friends, rock my world.

The Homemade Jamz Blues Band! They're KIDS based out of Mississippi, and are absolutely fantastic. The Thunderbird Family Band. they're on MySpace Also, I lived with them for two years in Boston. Psyched out communal folk rock. A beautiful gathering of some talented musicians and exceptional people. look them up. richard carver, wbb sandquist, matthew piet, ned sedlak, charles wood, greg settino, etc. god i love them

kansas~~~~if you cant remember who they are, "carry on my wayward son" ? or the beautiful and oh so true" dust in the wind" ?the instrumentals in every song is just crazy and yet somehow it all fits together throughout the rest of each song! the words are genius and real, so real you can relate to them in so many different ways during different days. check em' out! and check "chasing shadows" one of their best songs from their earlier days

Brandi Carlile. She's not a band, but she's my favorite singer of all time. She's on the rise now, but she's still a little unknown, at least according to my friends and family. I would love to let people know about her because her music is more inspiring than most. She is an honest, story teller, who uses music to convey what she is saying.

Tegan and Sara. Check out their songs- Downtown, Monday, Dark Come Soon, Knife Going in, Back in Your Head. I love them.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - check out the song 'Skin of my Yellow Country Teeth" . so much fun. the lead singer's voice is mumbly yet distinctive sounds a little bit like David Byrne of Talking Heads

McDonald & Giles - late of King Crimson, circa 1970. One great album - self-titled. Music was beatlesque, but often prettier. Good luck finding it.
