I like what Cher said at Sonny Bono's funeral: "I don't fear death anymore. If Sonny can do it, anyone can." I'm afraid of some of the ways I might die, but I don't think we should be afraid of death. Haven't been close to it yet, but I have 2 friends who have and they said it wasn't scary at all. I've heard it's just like walking through a door into the next room.

whose death? yours? nope. someone close to you? maybe, but only in how it will impact you. They are probably fine with the concept and delivery.

I don't think so. Death is an eternal rest, so might as well be restless while you can still kick-a*s! Seize every moment, always try something new and don’t be scared to go beyond your limitations. Besides, who cares if you didn’t meet your purpose in the end? At least you fought a good fight.

Okay. I'm going against the grain with a YES! Death is very scary. How is this helpful? Why not just sweep that fear under the rug? Because it is a motivator to realize the value of your life, and what you want to do with your time.

What's to fear? Pain? You've felt that already. Being gone? You wouldn't feel anything.
