I think the whole problem lies in trying to find that something else. The search has to drop. That is the only way of perceiving. Because who is searching. Definitely not the perceiver.

Its like the center looking for itself on the periphery. YOu can go on looking for the center in the periphery but I think its more accurate to ask who is asking the question who am I.
For me it is important to find my own harmonious way of going in and out. Down and up. Male female. all these polarities

Intelligence is an abstract categorization, like peace and favoritism. If it were matter, then we could harvest it and test its mass in an accelerometer. If it were energy, then we could quantify it in Newton-meters.

Just to clear something up. Matter is not energy. Traditionally, matter has mass and takes up volume. Photons, which communicate energy from one particle to another can be stacked in the exact same space. They have neither mass nor volume. I believe you might be confusing a physical concept called "mass energy equivalence" which states that the mass of a particle is directly related to the energy that the particle contains.

Intelligence in itself is not energy... it's a quality, and not a thing. The products of intelligence may have energy, and the processes of the brain that occur during thought require energy... but intelligence in itself is not...
