But then is the fact that this bugs me, my subconscious telling me that I am guilty of/need to be on guard against it myself??
(The idea that things that bug us the most are the things that reminds us of our own short-comings the most!)

I've never considered myself a violent feminist but when I hear about guys who beat up on woman or men who think that woman are only capable of cooking cleaning and making babies... that pisses me off. It doesn't just bring me close to lashing out... it makes me lash out verbally. I've almost gotten into bar fights because of it, i've almost clocked afew of the guys my husband works with, it's just a topic and a mind set that pisses me off.

I'm Australian, and I absolutely hate it on TV shows and movies or just people in general think all Australians are kangaroo-riding, crocodile wrestling, sunburnt people. We aren't all like that! It drives me insane. I don't say 'mate', it is not burning hot all year 'round, I do not have a pet kangaroo and I don't use a boomerang. I hate the stereotype.

The one thing that really gets my goat is when people are so closed off to what I'm trying to say, they will disregard the responses I've given them to re-ask the same question over and over. I find it frustrating.

they evolve into spoiled, whiny adults who have a sense of entitlement and no work ethic.
women who talk about being 'mom's'....it drives me absolutely batty. get over it. you gave birth. go back in time and do it in a field then get back to me about what a goddamn miracle it is.
i hate it when i see women wearing nylons with sandals or open-toed shoes of any kind.
it's wrong.
stop doing it.
and for fox sakes, how about we all just leave the cellphone off when we're in line? i don't care how busy and important you are. i don't need to hear about your plans for tonight!
