Have you ever had an epiphany?

I went to Alaska and stood next a water. It was the most powerful thing I have witnessed. A single water droplet is meaningless in this torrent, but also essential.

If you consider an epiphany to be any realization, no matter how big, then yes. If you consider an epiphany to be as simple as realizing you forgot to bring your lunch to work or that you forget it was a close friend or relative's birthday then yes.

i was watching lights' vlogs on youtube
and had a couple epiphanies
mostly related to originality and creativity
but i don't remember what they are now

When I knew God was in my heart and in my life !!

I had one once on a road trip to Arizona. Looking up at the clouds and the open spaces on the drive there was just amazing.

I feel like I have epiphanies every single day. Really small ones that only mean something when I add them up.

Life is a series of epiphanies.

"Epiphany" one definition: A sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
Mine:
Trust nobody and you won't get hurt. On the other hand, trust everybody, ignore their lies, and you won't get hurt.
No special event brings this on, just eventS.
My momentary reality.

I've had a few. I think I threw my back out experiencing my last one though!

Joking aside, they are "points of clarity" -- "mountain-top experiences" -- where it seems something so very much greater than self is suddenly laid out before your feet. It moves you, and changes you -- becoming a keynote in all future thought-processes, and causing one to re-think past processes. It is powerful, but can also fade like dream. You still remember the gist of it -- but details start to blur.
But one cannot live for long in the rarified air up there, fully exposed to the awesome forces at work up there. The outlooks are great, but there's precious-little to sustain oneself there; and one can literally fade away trying to hold onto every detail of the epiphany that is slipping like sand through your fingers.

So one must travel back to the valley-bottoms for nourishment, for life, and to get to the next mountaintop. And that be where the fruits and nuts flourish!
