If you could rip a masterpiece...

Recently, Picasso's "The Actor" was accidentally ripped by an art student at the Met.

If you could "accidentally" rip any famous artist's work, which one would you choose?

You self righteous little snot. I understand that you spoke your opinion, and i value your contribution to this discussion. I do not, however, value nor appreciate the comment about the link to the news article. i included that particular link because of the video footage and amount of content in the article, compared to the many other articles i have read on this matter.

I felt that people who were interested in this event would appreciate the possibility of a link, and then supplied them with the link, if they should want to read further.

I wouldn't. Even the ones that I think are silly. But then again, I wouldn't shoot John Lennon to make myself more attractive to Jody Foster either. (Although I might smack Adam Lambert on the back of the head, just because he irritates me. Oh yeah, and I'd also sponsor a cage match between Boy George and George Michael because their behavior embarrasses me.)

@imbetterthanyou22 thats cold... I don't think I would rip off any paintings, I enjoy stealing ideas from theatre and film I've seen though. I actually think its important, and keeps the memory of that idea alive.

I wouldn't rip off any art I would just go and piss all over it it is all f*****g sh*t that people put to much importance on and then I would dance on the dead artists graves and denounce the rest

To answer your question, I wouldn't be like the woman who ripped the Picasso. I would be the woman in France who made headlines for kissing a painting in 2007. She chose an all-white painting, and she was wearing crimson lipstick, so that didn't go over too well. I might give a close-mouthed, lipstick-free kiss to a painting. Or I could pucker up for a sculpture like "Concert for Anarchy" by Rebecca Horn.
