I remember a country where I was given a smoke break during movies, I could smoke in line at MacDonalds while children waited for their McFlurries! I could smoke while I pumped gas and ate my falafel! And they called this land the Holy Land~

No. What is this world coming to? How much control will our institutional corporate government inflict on the 'individual'? We should be allowed to smoke pot aswell, or better yet, we should allow ourselves.

No. Smoking is bad but c'mon, you can't outlaw it outdoors. Although I do find smokers that smoke right outside the door of a public building inconsiderate.

Yes, I grew up with a chain smoking father. I grew up in working in places where the break room was filled with smoking. I have never smoked. At 50, I have a cough which I feel is not right. So, yes, if I end up with lung cancer or and lung disease I feel it is because I have been around smokers. Did I mention that I have never smoked?

I used to be a corporate travel agency SWAT team member, and one of the accounts had cameras in the parking lot to discipline people who lit up in their cars before they had gone through the gates of the parking lot. Most buildings don't allow smoking within 15-25 feet of the door.
It's just a matter of time. The puppet masters are having such a hard time enforcing any of their other projects, so smoking is in the cross hairs.

Well then you'd have a bunch of nicotine addicts getting aggravated trying to find a spot to smoke. They're not freaks of nature. As long as they don't overwhelm a particular area with smoke then it should be fine. I hold my breath when I go past smokers.

Already banned in this city in all public parks. On the street, you just get dirty looks and people doing the deliberate hack as they go by.

As an ex-smoker of the sympathetic variety that would be total overkill and a protectionist overstep into the realm of the Nanny state.

What does it mean by public outdoor locations? Technically, everywhere outdoors is public.
