And what about the feelings? Because feelings create thoughts which create actions. LOL This is why people who have twisted feelings can do some pretty wierd things.

of course we use our thoughts - but we have loads of thoughts that don't change a thing - its what you do with them that counts.

All actions come from thought, so yes, I believe we can change our reality with our thoughts first and then our actions.

my job did not change, my money did not change, and i needed a car, so i started out looking for a loan, which i got, needed the car for that money or less. i found it. point is, i had to believe i could, i had to have the dream or thought, then set it in motion in action. so this one time this is how it worked. I have also had it happen the other way as well, a new outcome gave me a new insight.. now which is true? both in my life... now the question is what is reality. :)

Thoughts lead to actions which lead to habits. Change your thoughts, change your life.

I'm of two minds in this discussion. 1. There must be a combination of thoughts and actions to effect change. 2. Changing the way you look at things (flow, spin, outlook, etc.) will change the way things look to you. But number 2 is probably part of the process of number 1.

i don't think that the quote in the picture implies that you can create reality with your thoughts. i think it implies that you can create yourself. create is a verb, which in turn, implies action. i agree with failuresart. you can create and change reality with action. for example: my reality about 18 months ago was that i had lots and lots of credit card debt and no job. can i think my way into a job and out of debt? absolutely not. i CAN think, "Hey, I should go apply for some jobs." and then go apply for jobs, and get one. In so doing, I change my reality by using the money from my job to pay off my debts.

Actions are based on our thoughts. And yeah- that can work both ways. A famous psychoanalyst named Joyce McDougall wrote about how we have this script written in our heads, and then we appoint people to take over roles, and we relive something from our past over and over again. Do you all know people like that? I just talked to a dear friend of mine- and she always casts me in the role of somebody who is out to criticize her. I have to make her aware of this- that I was asking her a genuine question and it wasnt some sort of trick question for entrapment - and thank God she comes back out of her script, lets down her defenses, and can hear me. I guess one of her parents did that to her over and over again. It takes a lot of emotional health to get out of that kind of rut and to be open to something that doesnt fit in with our own inner script.

We change our reality with our thoughts. Sometimes, however, I can't remember if I imagined things in my daydreams, or if they actually happened.

We can change our representations of reality through will, but reality in general is zero-sum, therefore everything can change, but some things will be invariant.

No doubt about it. But your question is flawed, though. It implies we only create some of the time. It implies we only create the stuff we like.

We all have default settings, the ways of being that have worked in the past. We always have the option of becoming aware of, and responsible for those default settings. After that, we can create ourselves and our lives any way we please.

Yes we do. Once you change your thoughts, your way of thinking you have to change your actions. You cant operate from the same place you use to once you have changed your way of thinking. And yes its not easy, its not fun , it does take work, but its so worth it.

Yeah... I really do. From experience, you can... it's not easy, and it's not fun, but you can... it takes a shitload of willpower, though... of course, you can't warp the world around you, but you can change yourself and how you impact it.
