The question is not "who would Jesus bomb", rather "What would Jesus do for a Klondike Bar?"

I have often wondered when countries go the war, both the opposing armies have "god" on thier side. well, when one of them loses what then? is "my god" better than "your god"? Very interesting pic, BTW

Thanks for responses everybody. I consider myself Christian but after actually reading the NT, I can't believe believe the attitude of the Christian right. The Jesus I know has a lot more in common with the philosophy of the left. true. Which is equally interesting since the left is not usually the party that wants to claim him. haha.

Most of christian faith tells you that theirs a specific way of doing things,or go to hell. The concept of hell leaves no room for differences, no room for understanding peoples problems / ways of life.

Probably a complex scenario of not bothering to understand the Christian message combined with a xenophobic need to protect what one wants/needs/has.

During the Great war (1914-18) the famous religious leaders who refused to fight took the saying about how the Hun needed to be shot like the devils they were and pointed out that Christ could never be imagined carrying a rifle or stabbing anyone with a bayonet - and neither should we... Quakers are pacifist for this reason - do as Christ did not as the God of the Old testament did...
