@malibubeachalex they either get shot, or die of old age. I think the reason you haven't seen floating duck carcass is they might not float. Things that float and drown seem to never be surfaced for that long.

energy does not cease to exist. it expands and travels melds itself to other particles becoming a part of something else and/or creating new life

I kind of figured it was decomposition hurried along by scavengers, like any other dead thing. But at the University Mel and I went to, the little lake/pond/puddle had quiet a few ducks and a handful of geese. These particular ducks were as ugly as that dog somebody posted a couple of days ago. I truly believed that every-time they saw their reflection, they died of embarrassment.

Hmmm.... I have never really thought about that before! My guess is they get dragged off by an animal??

the question should be what happens to a ducks soul after he dies? do they go to some sort of heaven like human supposedly do? or do they just die and that's the end? if we humans, living in a world of deception and sexualtiy, get to go to some sort of heaven, then why not ducks? who just go through their lives eating and swimming?
