I went to Guatemala for three months to do volunteer work. I teamed up with a girl I met there to teach sex ed. We even created our curriculum, despite the fact that neither of us spoke fluent Spanish. It was a crazy three months, to say the least. More than anything, though, I want to be a mother. There are a lot of adventures I'd like to have that involve going awesome places and meeting all kinds of cool people. But I'd give those up to have kids.

I adventured to Alberqurque Nm for work.... lived there for a year... and it ended up being my favorite place ... more like home than where I grew up .... I've always wanted to venture to Alaska... or Canada.. not sure why.. I like the cold.

I'd have to ditto NostalgicShadows on my dream adventure...have always wanted to backpack across Europe. I think my greatest adventure so far has been quitting my job and moving to Tonga, where I survived an earthquake, hurricane, and getting hit by a car, and where I met my dad's family for the first time.

Proabaly when I was 15. I went to Lima, Peru, for mission work. It was amazing! We traveled all over Lima, to childrens feeding centers and tiny little house churchs... memories I will never forget! Also the coastline there is REALLY really pretty, unlike anything I have ever seen before! As for the adventure that I will do someday... I have always dreamed about bike-riding/hitchhiking across Europe or the U.S.

So Far: two weeks in and around Cuernavaca, Mexico, learning Spanish, visiting Teotihuacan (climbing the impressive Pyramid of the Sun), buying jewelry in Taxco, bad karaoke, Palm Sunday at the Basilica of Guadalupe..., was with the other half of my laughing soul (the other blonde). Yet to Happen: too many places to visit, and things to experience. I wish I could take a year off and just travel to all the places I've read about and visit the unknown. Experiencing something new seems to center me and yet give me such a high.
