sniff, sniff "Ahhhh..."

What's an ODD smell that you really enjoy? Thick, new umbrella plastic? Gasoline? Burning rubber? Freshly worn sneakers? Brand new sneakers? Pickle jars? Belly buttons? Dirty, dirty socks? The post of your earring? The inside of the plastic bag for a McDonald's toy? (some of my favorites) Feel free to explain or to not explain. Happy sniffing, friends.

The smell of the earth durning the thaw of spring. The Ice Cream Cone Factory in my town. Untouched forest. Good weed. A campfire.

I'm not sure anything can top the smell of a newborn baby.

Oh definitely gasoline. Yep umbrella plastic too. Old books, sharpies, pipe smoke, garlic breath, the air right after it rains, and I can't forget my childrens' heads. That's the best. Gotta inhale that youth!

The smell of a NEW HOUSE. I LOVE that smell, my cusin bout a house a bit ago, and as soonas a stepped inside I laid on the carpet and just smelled, until I feel asleep. I also love WET DOG, giving my dog a bath is a treat to me:) Good ol' dog smell!

Brewing coffee, redwood, my Grandma's woodstove, the scalp of my youngest child when he was a baby, the smell of his scalp now that he is a grown man, theater popcorn, almonds, and fresh donuts.

library books, clove cigarettes (not really odd), copier/printing store, some already mentioned here (skunk, pipe smoke, gasoline). I also like the smell inside a Hindu/Indian/Hare Krishna temple. It's incense, heat, curry, cilantro, sandalwood, carpet, polish, books and people all wrapped up into one. It smells like God to me.

the smell of a warm summer night reminds me of what its like to be alive im also beginning to not mind my body odor i can make a deodorant stick last a year! : )

Oh, and pipe smoke (been a non-smoker my whole life... well, except for that brief stint as a young teenager).

Sweet straw, leather goods stores, the ol' Kresge 5 and Dime, popcorn, movie theaters, wet pavement on a hot day, pipe tobacco.

A freshly opened pack of cigarettes (I'm not a smoker, but my mom is and I was obsessed with that smell as a kid), shoe stores, warm skin/hair (it just smells...warm), the air before a storm, books, gasoline, biscuits straight from the oven, erasers/new pencils, Johnson&Johnson baby wash, cardboard, all things citrus (reminds me of Christmas for some reason), fresh coffee, and computers that have been on for a while. Strange, I know.

the air an hour or two before it snows, a really old book, coffee breath (not that weird, but still...), whatever it is that new clothes smell like, clean skin, and chlorine...

Gasoline, permanent markers, freshly washed laundry, deparment stores, my dad's mix of cigarette smoke and dirt, Victoria Secret, Bath & Body, my dirty underwear (notice I said MY.. Lol not sure about anyone else's), His cologne (I need to figure out what it is. I miss it.), and that's about it folks! Haha, odd little collection..

New Shoes, Gasoline! New books, that one is my favorite.
