"I will have to disagree with you on the fact that there is no evidence of a creator...it is everywhere. Go look in the mirror." - That is not evidence that a creator exists, that is evidence that I exist. "If you are a product of chance and there is not divine being then life is meaningless." - That is a false assertion. "If there is a creator...and that creator loves us ,and I believe He does, then life is not meaningless at all." - That is an equally false assertion. "There is more science pointing to the fact that there has to be a divine intelligence behind life. The chances of everything happening int he right way is just too overwhelming." - Please demonstrate that there is "more" scientific evidence for God than for whatever it is you're comparing it against (you do not say) and also demonstrate how the Big Bang theory is just "too overwhelming."

This post reminds me of the time I went camping with friends. We decided to hike up a mountain. Not knowing where we were going, we found a path and ventured our way up. Now this was not a bunny hill, it was an actual hike with the trail elevating. No compass no map... Straight exploration for all of us. Talking about life in general and enjoying the camaraderie. After nearly two hours we met our goal! My goodness it was absolutely gorgeous, yes the fact that we didn't pass out along the way, but also the scenery around us! I remember it so clearly, overlooking Lake Champlain in the middle of summer, a couple of years ago seem like ages now. More excellent conversations between great friends as we rested and gained our strength and our breath back. From our vantage point the sailboats and the ferry looked like tiny white ants on a pristine blue shimmering lake. The green trees surrounding the lake seemed to be almost unreal. Picture a Bob Ross painting. No longer is one of our good friends with us... I remember his exact quote once we got to our destination, "This is God's country gentlemen!" Now I know I haven't answered the direct question, but the post did remind me of nature and the creator. Connecting it all together was my friend Michael Casey. May god bless your soul my friend, for you will never be forgotten!

Absolutely! I have a hard time believing that all the majesty of the changing seasons is coincidence or an accident. I thank God every time I witness a sunrise/sunset, crunch through fall leaves or play out in the snow. The landscape is just too beautiful.

Oh yea. I believe we are created. Such evidence can be the very existence of logic and rationality that takes place in the minds of created being like us.

I feel that there must be. I dont think that going through life believing that my life is just an anomaly that shouldn't have ever been...well, I try to be an optimist. Why live in a world where my only purpose would be one I would create for myself?(Knowing full well how imperfect I am, therefore any purpose I create would too be imperfect.) I feel that the biggest evidence in nature of a creator is us. Mankind. Our minds and ability to question is it. Some believe that hope is naive and childlike, but I believe this sense of hope is the essence of our human nature. I have strong beliefs, but all in all I would rather live my life taking in nature as a beautiful creation rather than seeing a sunset, animal or another human being showing compassion all as some cosmic mistake.
