yea, I'd say go with the puppy dog eyes, it helps a little to know what your feeling and why your feeling it but more important what he's feeling and why he's felling it but really just try to melt the meanness. seriously if your not angry at each other its just normal people debating right?

be passive. when you feel a fight or an argument come up just walk away to the next room. get yourself centered clear your mind and then after you feel you like you both had some time to cool off go try to talk to him. if he trys to argue again tell him this is not the kind of person you are or he is and if he wants to work this problem out like an adult let you now walk away and leaave it. if he wants to work it out he will come and talk to you if not maybe hes not right for you. if he does work it out dont bring it up again ever your just digging yourself a grave if you do. be understanding and positive make sure your both on the same page. it may not allways go as planed but try you will fail a few times but keep at it to make a differents. good luck!!!
