A poem--every word is precisely chosen and more meaningful than if it was one of many more in a novel.

Poem. It has an internal rhythm and a distinctive vibrational quality. Poems are complete stories/universes in compact, beautiful packaging. This is what I wish to be. Sometimes I fret that I'm actually more akin to some pointless post-modern drivel, tho. I also think I'd like to be a function. It'd make predicting the future easier a hell of a lot easier.

a poem, short and hard to get, but easy to read through. honestly, I don't think there are whole lot of people can handle 10minutes with me, besides my life is so full of things which the world already had loads of it, no one should be interested in another plain, ordinary novel.

Novel. I've never enjoyed a poem like I have a good novel. This may not be everyone, but I never really connect to the personalities and message of a poem like I do a novel. I would like people to be able to do that when they read me.

There's a lot to be said for both. Among other things, I write ten minute plays. The first rule of ten minute plays is that the last about 10 minutes on stage, which means there's a lot of distilling that has to go on along with the whole show don't tell thing about plays anyway. While I enjoy that format, I yearn for the opportunities for exposition and stream of consciousness inherent in a novel. So I'd rather be a novel. (I think poetry is very important, but I'm not comfortable with the format. I did write a play in poetry that's about 40 minutes long, but I generally don't read poetry.)
