Well if "Fling" means, sleeping with some one, then I have no clue. If "Fling" means anything else then yes, I'd say its probably unhealthy and uneeded heartache.

Woah! Lol I didn't even think about that.. Shows how sheltered I am.. Lol I never had a "fling" with this person in that I slept with him. Haha, wow.

I wish it was... OH goodness. Lol but it hasn't proven to be in my life. Everytime I'd fall back into his arms, knowing he'd leave, I feel ripped apart on the inside all over again when he does. I guess if you don't have a heart that's attached to this person... Sure. Flings are never healthy though, really, imo. Relationship at any level should be because you really care for that person.

I don't think flings are ever a good idea. The idea of treating sex, which is so emotionally and spiritually powerful, as a casual thing can be dangerous and unhealthy. If one of the party in question is in a current relationship, it is particularly out of the question.

IMO, absolutely not. Actually, I only mean that if one party is in a relationship right now. If neither of them are, then it may be fine. It may also be a sign you still have feelings for each other, or not. I'm not exactly a relationship expert over here.
