Surely we should be concerned with finding the truth. Even open-minded people (although I tend to gravitate towards them) can sometimes be too open and their views get them into trouble. I consider myself open-minded and accept people even though I may have totally different views to them. We all belong to the brotherhood of man it's time for us on the planet to come together, accept one another and try and understand each other in love and unity.

I always wonder if I'm really open-minded. I know I am eager to seek and to know what truth is, and that leads me to seek many opinions, but I'm not sure if that makes me open-minded by the world's standards.

hmm. good one. i suppose if you are just neutral to everything you could be completely open minded.. but then again would you even be human?

I don't know, I'm kinda close-minded, as some of you may have noticed. And my opinions are rarely affected by anyone's opinions. But I have to admit a few people here on SoulPancake came pretty close from making me change my mind.

open minded does not mean falling for anything. open minded has less to do with the opinion than the manner in which the opinion is reached and supported. if i say the moon is made of cheese, and scream it's my opinion, well fair enough - but those that don't believe me aren't close minded...
