It was a chance meeting and he offered to help me with my car (mechanic), He had a goofy quality and was literally googly eyed over me in the beginning. I let him persue but we fell madly for each other once we went out. We had a burning passion for each other but took it very slow, which I think makes all the difference for longevity sake.

I met the love of my life In school! He was actually dating someone else when we starting hanging out and being friends. We were best friends for about a year when I decided I'm not going to be on the backburner anymore and took control. I started being assertive and telling him I liked him and he ended up breaking up with his girlfriend because he liked me too! We've been together for about a year and a half now and its been so wonderful. I love him because he treats me with respect and appreatiates me for all of me, not just whats "good" or "attractive". Hes also really nerdy and so nice and I love that about him and I love how smart he is!

Um...well, I don't know if he's the love of my life yet, cause you know, I have a lot of life ahead of me...hopefully...but anyway, here's mine: I met my BF Shawn when I moved in a few doors down from him in the same apartment, and I sort of had my eye on him from the beginning, cause whoa mama he is hot! ;D And then I tripped down the stairs because I'm very clutzy, and fell down like three flights...and of course everybody in the apartment was like "omg, are you okay?" cause most of them view me as this little kid...they're mostly all old people. And Shawn was one of the people that asked if I was okay, and we've been dating ever since. :)

I met Scott cruising Main Street. We live in a small town and that's what people did on the weekends. Cruise. He was driving a beat up Jetta the color of wet gravel and had a Pantera sticker. I think it was love at first sight. I was 17 and we're still together. I'm turning 30 in 3 weeks.

I met my guy on a dating website too...POF. We randomly chatted and after five minutes I, feeling spontaneous, asked him to meet me, for some sushi and a movie. I think it was love at first sight for both of us, it is a very hard to explain thing, but when I opened my door and we made eye contact for the first time, we both just genuinely smiled so big. And that was the most comfortable first date of my life...we snuggled, and hung out, joked around, kissed, it was so nice. We made it official pretty quickly, after maybe 11 days? That was in October 2008. We live together now :)

Completely by accident. Nothing in particular. But when you see yourself deeply reflected within someone else, you can't deny it~ Love is. And you have to deal with it, in all its terrifying beauty. Love is so much richer than sunshine, roses, and happily ever after. If that what you think love is about, you're selling yourself short. Love completes your death, just as surely as it completes your life. And that's why nothing in the world compares to wholly loving someone. Just my 2¢. Not very romantic, nor much a of story for that matter, so probably not what you wanted. But it's the reality I see nonetheless.
