Please realize it is the cutest responsibility you will have until children. They are cute, relentless in their love and mischief, funny as hell, warm/caring and totally and completely dependent on you. In other words, yes.

Be PREPARED! Have you ever owned a dog before in your life? If not, take caer of someone's dog for about a week or 10 days. And get something you can deal with, a breed that suited to your lifestyle. Don't put it in a crate all day if you work...they take a ton of time. A TON.

maybe. before you do, though, try this: wake up each morning at 8am. go for a walk around the block. change out a bowl of water. then, in the late afternoon make sure you are home to take another walk around the block. before you go to bed, change out the water again. good luck!
