I believe in the Karma Police so I guess I do believe in Karma. "This is what you get when you mess with us"

I think bad karma is related to the failure to learn the lessons we are supposed to be learning. It's an accumulation of negative energy that has to come back to it's source eventually. It does go beyond death, as @DAISYDO said. I have been studying reincarnation pretty intensely lately, and one interesting thing I have learned is that the soul who commits acts against another must, in between lives, actually be a part of the planning for the "balancing" of their negative karma, *assisting* the same soul who they wronged. This is done in such a way that the "punishment fits the crime", so to speak. The wronged soul helps the offending soul create a tailor made lesson. This collaboration is forgotten when both are back in physical form, but the wronged soul will teach the other a lesson, literally. The thing is, at the soul level this is a loving process.

Its not about material well being. It goes beyond death. Those who dont get the cosmic payback in this life will get it in the next. Those who suffer innocently in this life will be compensated in the next world.

Yes. I think it is a more subtle version of Newton's laws, like psychological action and reaction. I think the "my name is earl" version is charming, I love the show, but I don't quite think it's exactly how karma works... but hey, the guys doing good deeds! That is good!!!

I really don't believe in Karma but I would like to. I'd like to think the good I do will come back to me; it's just that it hasn't just yet!

I honestly don't. I've always done the right thing throughout my entire life, and the worst things always happen to me. Bad things do happen to good people. I also know people who do bad toward others, and they live the high life. But there are a few situations that I've been in where I felt that Karma was real, so I guess I somewhat believe in it.
