i dont think that there is such thing as modern love, or past or future love for that matter, love is timeless, it has never changed

I don't think the nature of love has changed over the years. What worked in the past (ie, sacrifice, commitment, loyalty) works today. What has never worked (relying on the institute of marriage, self-service) still doesn't work! Perhaps so many couples are falling apart because we're trying to re-define something that is eternal?

I'm an old fashion type of heart... an alien of this land of lovers from my pov for the majority... beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as long as your friends agree love is in the blood of the willingly vulnerable, where the vampires of deception come to feed where commitment rarely makes it till morning and honesty is a four letter word where ego projection is more important than real connection where believing the lie feels better than knowing the truth.... but I'm single right now, so what do I know... lol
