Proclaim that which hath been sent down unto Thee as a token of the grace of the merciful Lord, for if Thou do it not, Our secret will never be made known to the people, while the purpose of God in creating man is but for him to know Him. Indeed God hath knowledge of all things and is self-sufficient above the need of all mankind. (The Bab, Selections from the Writings of the Bab, p. 62)

God is on His own side. any particular country? that would be funny because of its outlandishness if people didnt actually believe it. There's a reason I call Jesus King of kings and Lord of lords. A central tenet of Christianity is that one day He will return and take control of His world, and rule it in wisdom and love.

Like most parents I think God doesn't really care who started it, and if we don't quit our bickering he's gonna pull this planet over and then we're all gonna get it! I think that its arrogant to think that God gives a flying fig, who wins, who loses, if children die. History shows that if there is a God, he's the neutral zone. God is on all our sides, but the outcome is not what matters, what matters are the details. The compassion, the willingness to die for what you believe in, the hope, the feeling of liberation after a long struggle. If you blink you will miss the candle in the darkness, and that's whose side God is on the candles, and there are candles burning on all sides.

If you read Joshua 5:13-15 God does not take a side. When Joshua asked him if he was friend or foe God replies, "Neither".

It's probably more of a question of who's on God's side! Because if both are, there will be no conflict worth killing over.

I don't think either. god does not condone war for any reason, violence should be only used for self defense

From a favorite movie: "I imagine God is weary of being called down on both sides of an argument."
