It will burn down: but in Passion or Hatred?
All good things must come to and end... whether you agree with that statement or not, it is the basis of this question: How do you like for things in your life to end? Inspired by the song 'Currents' by Dashboard Confessional, "If it is born in flames then we should let it burn Burn as brightly as we can And if its gotta end then let it end in flames Let it burn all the way down" Song lyrics...cliche, I know. But I think it inspires a legitimate question: (or at least one I'm having trouble with) If you had the choice, would you rather things in your life end A] at their peak, when you were happiest, so you had no regrets? or B] because of an argument, or simply because things were slowly going downhill? You can think of this question however you like; the most obvious interpretation would be in reference to relationships... but you could also answer it based on life itself. Are you a "die in a car crash on the best day of your life" or a "live to an old age and die of cancer" kind of person?
