Nope, I wouldn't kill for any concept of god. I believe the root of all "sin" is seeing people as things.

There is on record one such incident. It is of the Patriarch Abraham where God asks him to sacrifice his son Isaac by slitting his throat. Isaac was the apple of his parents' eye. God was asking everything of the old man.So far as I know there were no further requests of this nature from Yaweh Sabbaoth.We all know the story. Humans believed in blood sacrifice for thousands of years. Young men, women and children were slain in the name of all of the gods. In this story is it not possible that God was putting a stop to this barbarism? Animals continued to be slaughtered for sacrifice for a few centuries more. Jesus went to great pains to teach us that our sacrifices did not please God. God wanted our hearts he said not our sacrifices.God did not want us to kill for him.

Romans 12:19 God metes out vengeance, not I. My role is to forgive and offer opportunity for repentance (even if it isnt taken). I lack the wisdom to judge someone like that

its so much easier to just kill everyone for peace... for real peace to happen you have to like talk to them and stuff.. when a god is behind a war .. or a murder .. you have to wonder what god are you really serving..???

God asks me to do something a lot harder than kill for Him .... to try to get along with everybody and create peace and justice in the world for Him. And I love Him enough to try - though I sometimes think it would be easier just to let someone SHOOT ME and be done with it.

I think that, for us to think that God would ask us to kill on his behalf, we would have to reallllllly redefine what God's nature/character are, wouldn't we?

God needs to understand... if you want something done right do it yourself... so no... i've got my own sh*t to do... besides, where I come from a man does his own killin, he doesn't ask someone else to do it for him.
