In some respects I am very satisfied. However, I am very dissappointed that bailouts were issued to financial institutions without enacting regulation. A lot of bankers have become very wealthy over the past year, while unemployment has sky-rocketed. I agree that the bailouts were necessary, but why the government and Obama did not put terms behind the money is mind-boggling. Hopefully we don't have a double dip recession, as our economy is incredibly fragile.. regardless of what any news source/economist tries to argue.

I think Mr. Obama took over a VERY messy situation and he's doing pretty darned well. Too many of us have already forgotten the huge mess he inherited. The guy is not Harry Potter -- he can't just wave a magic wand and make everything perfect in seven months, for cryin' out loud!

Yes, 100%. This was the first election I could vote in and it was an honor to vote for Mr. Obama. I was in Times Square when the results were announced, and I think that was one of the first times I can remember where I was really, really proud to be an American.

That needing Hitler thing looks bad...I really mean to relate the need of the aftermath of the abomination that was Hitler.

Happier than I would be with the only other candidate to have a chance of winning. Take this question to a political blog or at least honestly answer it yourself and tell us your party(independent being no more than a dodge).

Pretty much, yep. If it weren't for the foot dragging, obstructionist republicans, I'd be happy as a clam.

I'm happy with my choice. I would complain about the health care thing, but I knew that would be an unhill battle no matter what. He took over a pretty big mess and everything I've seen says it's not getting worse, which is something I suppose. My biggest regret is how hateful people have gotten over him, I knew people would be mad but some people have just gotten downright hateful, and its not because he hasnt done a good job, they were pissed before day one. But as of right now, still happy with Obama

Mostly, I'm very satisfied. Within the power of his office, Obama is doing all he can to deliver on his plans for improving the nation. There are a few minor points that rankle me, but until I'm elected president I don't imagine anyone would do it the same way I would. One little thing that bugs me is Geithner being the Secretary of the Treasury when he evaded paying some taxes; that's a little skewed and reflects a little poorly on the administration. But the only important issue that sticks in my craw is the fact that we haven't prosecuted those responsible for committing the atrocities at Guantanamo Bay. It's possible that there may be plans for this of which I am unaware and I get that Obama has been setting a tone of moving forward rather than placing blame. But some crimes should never go unpunished or ignored. In addition to being a miscarriage of justice, it makes us look bad around the world. But if given the choice all over again I would still vote for Obama, would still go door to door campaigning for him, and plan to do so when it's time for re-election.
