i think so. communication is all the way you work your body. dance would be inevitable.

sound is inevitable no matter how quiet it is...whether its hitting on drums or blinking your eyes. there is sound in everything.

Nothing could exist without sound. Sound is vibrational energy. And that creates everything. Even the smallest particles hum with it. No energy, no waves, no stuff. We dance, imo, because we want to be 'stuff,' too... but our bodies typically can only perceive the grossest (largest, not yuckiest) vibrational patterns, and this is why it's sooo hard for our bodies to resist movement when it feels/hears/sees good vibrations. Love (a *great* vibration, imo) y'all.

It seems pretty obvious now :) But when I posted the question I was seriously conflicted trying to imagine a world without any sound- no wind in the trees, no sound of footsteps... just the world on "mute". And it was so hard! But then as braxtonrob said: deaf people dance! So the waves still dance, even if you don't hear them crash. I'd have to really find my stillness first though, that way the movement would in contrast to the stillness be "loud". (I wish you could "reply all")
