I was actually walking an elderly lady out to her car and we just stood and talked about art for a while. She was very knowledgeable, and yet, she was also very down to earth. I enjoyed talking to her, and it was very gracious of her to share her knowledge.

I took home-picked blueberries to some of my coworkers who were recently victims of a scary crime. I am on vacation, so it was on my own time, but it made them very happy!

to me: the bass player in the band i manage wrote me a most heartfelt email expressing how much he appreciated me and my efforts. it was awfully sweet. from me: i fed my boys (the band) a gourmet, but non-pretentious meal post recording session today. then i gave them all hugs.

A man (I believe) reversed his SUV so that I could pull into the entrance of a parking lot. With NJ drivers--that was REALLY nice and I greatly appreciated it. Today, I pulled into a gas station to witness a huge argument between one of the attendants and a customer. Another customer was going between them to avoid a fist fight. My friend urged me to just drive away and find another station, but I felt wrong leaving--I thought people might need help, or someone to make a phone call or something. When another attendant came to fill up my tank, I asked if he needed me to call the police or something because that's what I kept hearing, "CALL THE POLICE! GET 'EM HERE! YOU GOT A PHONE?" haha. He was a young guy, seemed nice and grateful about it--he smiled, said thank you, and just shook his head. "It's all right," he continued, and did what he did. Just trying to show that I cared.
